I
like to approach my Art in a relaxed state (although this is not
always the case) and with the feeling that my mind is free to
search within myself.
“Mind set” is key.
For me, music and light stimulate the creative process.
Once my body and mind are
connected the experience becomes breathtaking and can be quite
intense, even exhausting. Extracting
Art from within is primarily an emotional experience.
I consider myself a contemporary abstract artist.
My Art is a language of emotions and of meditation
without words.
I find myself
almost transforming from modern human form to a completely
different being by way of emotional force, maybe a more
primitive pre-language being, maybe a more spiritual being.
Personally I haven’t figured out why, I just know I am
doing what I should be doing.
The creative
process is hard work and though it is exhilarating it can be
very frustrating at times but I wouldn’t change it for the
world.
I like to create
texture, depth and warmth.
I usually step out of and back into my paintings several
times to assure a certain connective response.
Most of my paintings have depth due to the underlay.
It seems I often begin with a first layer of paint as one
creation and then I either completely or partially change the
painting when applying the second and third layers of medium.
Each painting evolves.
I hope you find
pleasure and enjoyment through my eyes of “Art”.
I want my Art to in some way relieve suffering.
