About
I work primarily with acrylic and oil but will often seek the opportunity to explore other mediums. My process usually begins with music and a private space, which allows me to integrate my current feelings with color and technique.
While my style is predominantly abstract, the evolving nature of my creativity inspires me to occasionally incorporate imagined figures or forms as each piece develops. Influences from the works of my favorite artists, such as Kandinsky, Picasso, Hans Hofmann, and others, become part of me.
I do not adhere to a singular signature or thematic subject in my paintings; instead, my focus varies according to my emotional state. My intention is for the viewer to connect to my energy, allowing them to find a freshness within my work. When they can do this, I have achieved my goal with that painting.
My imagination feeds my art from both internal and external experiences. Through my paintings I communicate my world to the viewer. My goal is that they can engage emotionally and derive their own interpretations from my artistic vision. I strive to explore and represent these themes in each piece I create, aiming to establish meaningful connections with my audience.
I hold the belief that all forms of existence, such as human, animal, nature, and time itself, are interconnected. This philosophy motivates my art practice, driving me to translate complex emotions onto canvas, even when such expression proves challenging to articulate in words.
